Pleasure Craft License Transfer - Vessel Registration Canada

Please use this form to transfer a pleasure craft licence to a new owner. You will need to provide your personal information together with details of the vessel and the previous owner. You will also need to either email us or use the upload feature to provide the following documents in JPG, PNG, TIFF or PDF format:

Signed and dated copy of the bill of sale;
Owner’s government-issued identification (birth certificate; citizenship certificate, passport or driver’s licence), and
One current full side-view colour photograph of the pleasure craft.

All pleasure craft licence transfer applications are processed on a first come first served basis. It is very important to have a current and updated pleasure craft licence on board the boat at all times in order to avoid a $250 fine.
